Our Centres

Our innovative, values-driven school operates as one cohesive community across four key sites. This structure allows us to share expertise, resources, and research-led practice, while also creating distinct environments tailored to the individual needs of our students. Each site is designed to deliver a truly personalised pathway, ensuring the right provision for every young person.

Our leadership team, governors, and staff work as one united team, driven by a shared commitment to excellence. Together, we ensure that all students benefit from a pioneering ‘whole child curriculum’ that is ambitious, inclusive, and life-changing.

All students have an EHCP in place at Goldwyn school, identifying a primary need of SEMH and /or ASD.  The local Authority will consult us if a student needs and provision are rooted in Social and Emotional needs. Many students will have transitioned from previous SEMH specialist provision, or some students may have had fractured mainstream experiences and or time out of education.

Our Student Experience and Outcomes

At Goldwyn School, we are committed to ensuring that every student leaves us with the confidence, skills, and qualifications they need to succeed in life. Our approach is centred on overcoming barriers linked to social, emotional, and mental health needs, enabling students to re-engage with learning and realise their full potential.

Through our Whole Child Curriculum, we support students to:

  • Address and achieve their EHCP outcomes, ensuring provision is personalised and purposeful
  • Develop self-confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships and strengthen social skills and independence
  • Re-engage with education through a balanced and ambitious curriculum

Alongside this, we offer a strong academic pathway, with opportunities to achieve qualifications from Entry Level through to GCSE, ensuring that all students have meaningful and aspirational next steps.

We hold ourselves to a high level of accountability for the impact of our curriculum—not only in terms of academic success, but in the kind of young people our students become. To ensure this, we use a range of measures to track progress and demonstrate impact, including:

  • Academic outcomes and qualifications
  • Wellbeing measures, including Leuven Scales and Boxall Profiles
  • Engagement, attendance, and readiness to learn
  • Development of social and emotional skills
  • The voice of our students and families, which provides powerful insight into lived experience and progress

Our ultimate aim is that every student leaves Goldwyn better equipped for the future—confident, resilient, and ready to take their next steps in education, employment, and life.
